snom Updates Flagship Phone Product Line
snom Technology, a leading developer of IP desktop business phones, has updated its flagship line of products with a new look, new branding and an upgrade of the internal processor used to power the handset.
The new D715 and D725 IP desktop phones are now sold complete with a Broadcom chipset, which provides improved power to handle current and future Unified Communications applications.
Both produced in black with a sleeker design than their predecessors, these two new desktop phones are the first of the new models in the 7xx series line, all of which will now feature the D nomenclature.
According to snom Technology, the new D725 phone provides users with the ultimate in functionality, featuring 18 multicolour function keys, as well as sideband audio, Gigabit Ethernet and a USB port for expansion. Also complete with 12 SIP identities, or lines, this brand new phone is the perfect choice for those working in call-intensive business environments.
The D715 is also available with Gigabit Ethernet capabilities, as well as five programmable function keys and four SIP identities, for use in a less call-intensive environment.
According to Tommy Lee, snom's director of partner alliance, the new updated series of phones is just the most recent example of how the company is committed to delivering the latest in IP telecommunications to its vast range of customers.
He continued: “We are not taking our foot off the gas and are excited about new capabilities we will deliver in 2015."
